The Department of Chemical Engineering has very well equipped laboratories to cater to the various subjects that a student encounters during his or her study period. It also has independent computer facilities where the students can work for themselves. The students are also provided with excellent facilities for carrying out project work-theoretical as well as industrial and experimental.
The Department also undertakes consultancy in pollution control, energy engineering and size distribution of particles etc. The Department has good interaction with industries and arranges technical subject discussions by experienced people from industry. The department also organizes an yearly event called CHEMINAR. This event includes a paper presentation contest for students and has an active participation from the industry.
