Henri Cartier, the first of a genre of photographers who brought elements to humanism in their photographs, once said that photography is the ability to show a soul on a picture. While we, in the lens-club here, are a long way from that, we have definitely captured a mammoth number of bodies on picture! With its small strength and high degree of professionalism, it is easily the most exclusive organization on campus. Work this year included photo coverage of college events like Revels 2001, intellect, Cheminar, Brainwave (ISTE), Print Perspective etc. Photography is inherently a combination of technology and artistic flair and it is difficult to put in words the joy one feels when a picture turns out the way you wanted it to. Amongst more prominent members are Sateesh Bhat (President), who intends going professional and freelance for occasion-coverage and Rosin Dos's, who has done a shoot for Nestle-India. At this juncture i would like to thank individually all the people who have made my position as photo sec a memorable one. Great job, guys! Go for the BIG PICTURE.
